Christie Tate

Christie Tate is a New York Times Bestselling Author I had the pleasure of working with on her branding. The goal of our work together was to establish a strong brand identity and utilize it in a new website. As we began our work together, two themes came up.
Many times at the beginning of a project I use imagery I find online to learn more about my client’s preferences and the direction for the brand. Christie kept finding herself drawn to images that had a strong French feel. This translated into her palette. It also inspired the polka dots and stripes used throughout her website. The second theme we used as a focus of her branding came from her first book, Group. The book focuses on her recovery from an eating disorder. While she was struggling with the disorder she would eat bags full of apples. In the website and images below you can see how these themes became the foundation of her brand.
